Licensed Practical Nurses
Requirements:
- Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in Health, Assistance and Nursing (SASI)
- At all times, interact with patients and their families respectfully to ensure their well-being and comfort.
- Respect confidentiality
- Interpersonal relationships marked by respect and openness
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively
- Ability and openness to constructive feedback
- Strong interest in palliative care.

Duties
- The licensed practical nurse provides nursing care to offer the best possible quality of life to patients at the Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie. She works as part of a team with the nurse, the Director of Care, care aides and volunteers.
- Receive reports from the nurses on the previous shift;
- Ensure patients’ well-being and respond to their needs jointly with the team;
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescriptions;
- Supervise and assist care aides and volunteers in their tasks;
- Report to the on-call physician during their daily rounds.
