LA MAISON MATHIEU-FROMENT-SAVOIE
Founded in 1993, La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie is a non-profit palliative care center approved by Accreditation Canada and is partnered with the health and social services network. Its mission is to welcome and accompany, at no cost, the persons who are at the end of their lives, as well as their family, to allow them to live as serenely as possible the last moments of the respect, dignity, and compassion.
LA FONDATION MATHIEU-FROMENT-SAVOIE
La Fondation Mathieu-Froment-Savoie ensures the continuity of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie by overseeing fundraising and the management of donations. The mission of la maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie is to welcome and accompany, at no cost, the persons who are at the end of their lives, as well as their family, to allow them to live as serenely as possible the last moments of the respect, dignity, and compassion.
SERVICES OFFERED BY LA MAISON
We welcome people at the end of life and their loved ones to accompany them in their final moments; the care team is made up of qualified nurses, nursing assistants and orderlies; and volunteers who wish to be part of the care team are trained by La maison. We rely on the expertise of six dedicated physicians to provide personalized, respectful end-of-life care for each patient.
SERVICES OFFERED BY LA FONDATION
The Mathieu-Froment-Savoie Foundation was created to ensure the financial sustainability of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie through medium- and long-term financial commitments from philanthropists in the Outaouais region. The Foundation is also a vehicle for raising awareness of the importance of supporting those who are committed to accompanying people at the end of life with love and dignity.
HOW TO REGISTER A PATIENT?
La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie offers three types of services: accommodation during the last weeks of life, control and relief of pain and other symptoms, and temporary accommodation for respite or help at the end of life.
Fundraising Events
We regularly organize fundraising events in the community in order to continue our mission of enabling the people at the end of life to live as serenely as possible the last moments in respect, dignity and compassion at La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie
