Thanks to the support of our community, <strong>more than $1.1 million was raised<\/strong> over the past year, through individual and major gifts, memorial donations, our campaigns and our many fundraising activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These results take on their full meaning when we remember that government funding covers only <strong>49% of the Maison\u2019s annual operating costs<\/strong>, and that one million dollars in donations is needed each year to ensure the continuity of its services, which are offered free of charge to patients. Since 1999, approximately <strong>4,600 patients and families<\/strong> have benefited from the support of the Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:33px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year was also marked by many projects and initiatives, including the complete renovation of the training room and the launch of a brand-new website, as well as by the success of our events and of the activities organized by our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Behind these achievements are the <strong>donors, partners, volunteers, employees and board members<\/strong> who choose, year after year, to keep this great chain of solidarity alive. Their commitment allows the Foundation to pursue its essential mission: ensuring the Maison\u2019s long-term financial sustainability and helping to provide people at the end of life and their loved ones with support marked by dignity, compassion and humanity.<br><br>This annual report is, above all, yours. It tells the story of what we accomplish together when an entire community rallies around a shared mission.
