FIRST MAJOR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
“It is with a great sense of pride and enthusiasm that my spouse Murielle and I have accepted to chair the first major fundraising campaign for La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie. The mission being pursued and the brilliance in which this community service based organization undertake its work, is for us an undeniable assurance for their success”.
The fact that La maison chose to establish itself in the old St-Benoît Abbé Church is, for both of us, an added reason to take on this ambitious campaign whose objective is to raise 3 million dollars. Indeed, this Church was built by my grandfather Ed Brunet in the fifties. Congratulations are due to the clergy for preserving the building in such a good state.
Under the heading « Donnez des ailes à La maison », the campaign will make it possible to relocate the MMFS and to offer greater care to its patients and their family members. Five additional private rooms, for a total of eleven, will now be available – including one specially adapted for children needs. Furthermore, there will be private living rooms, a large outdoor terrace, a meditation area, a playroom and a large community room.
We are very happy to be able to count on the close collaboration of dedicated volunteers who work hard to ensure the success of this important fundraising campaign and help improve the palliative care services in the Outaouais.
Together, let us take an active part in this historical turning point of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie by contributing financially, or in any way possible, to « Donnez des ailes à La maison ».
